Talking Books

Aims to improve the quality of life of blind, partially sighted and disabled people of all ages by providing a free postal library of unabridged recorded books on MP3 CD disks, USB memory sticks and cassettes that can be played back on a commercially available listening device.

Provides a postal and internet based audiobook library to anybody who finds it difficult to read due to illness or disability. Members can download, stream and borrow MP3 CDs and we have a huge selection of both adults and children's section to choose from. We also support the National Curriculum from key stage 2 - A Level.

Postal library service for blind and partially sighted people, of any age, offering a wide range of professionally recorded books on special easy to use playback equipment. The library is open every weekday from 8am to 5pm. There is an annual membership subsciption often paid by Local Authority. Information on current subscription rates may be obtained from RNIB Talking Book service, Customer Services office.
